Clearing Verdant IPA

Normally, after 48 hours after bottling, most of my beers have 80-90% cleared. This isn’t the case with this Verdant Blonde IPA.

I think it is in line with most of the pictures I have seen of other brewers beers based on the Verdant Yeast. Once fermentation has finished, I chill the beer to around 3C for 48 hours before bottling. I find this helps the beer to clear. Given that Verdant Yeast is meant to produce a slightly cloudy beer, I wasn’t sure if I should still chill it. Anyway, I did. Just for consistency!

It will be interesting to see what effect another couple of weeks of bottle conditioning will have! A few more days in the warm and then it is down to the cellar for a couple of weeks.
